Energy Efficiency
If you wish to apply for a capital grant, your building/s must already have suitable energy efficiency measures in place as without these relatively low-cost but energy-effective improvements, the benefits of high cost microgeneration technologies may not be fully realised. At the very least, you will be required to carry out an energy efficiency "walk-round". The Carbon Trust has produced a fact sheet (CTL003) to show you how to do this. This can be found on their website www.carbontrust.co.uk
